Josef Albers Work Sells for $778,500 to Deliver a 10% Annualized Return

Josef Albers, R-I d-1 (1968), sold for $778,500 (GBP588,800), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 14.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $323,900, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 2021 for $454,600 at Christie's.
