John Olsen Work Returns to Auction

John Olsen, Pelican Rookery, Lake Alexandrina, is due to be sold at Bonhams in Sydney on May 5, 2026 with a $43,100 (AUD60,000) to $57,500 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2003 for $36,300 at Lawson. The current low estimate is 6% lower than its previous low estimate of $46,300.
