Johann Heinrich Fussli Work Returns to Auction

Johann Heinrich Fussli, King Priam Begging Achilles for the Body of Hector, is due to be sold at Christie's in Paris on April 15, 2026 with a $229,600 (EUR200,000) to $344,300 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2012 for $207,700 at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 268% higher than its previous low estimate of $62,400.
