Joan Mitchell, Untitled, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in New York on October 7, 2026 with a $1m to $1.5m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2005 for $80,000 at Christie's. The current low estimate is 900% higher than its previous low estimate of $100,000.
