Joan Miro, Personnage (1935), sold for $768,000, more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 20.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $320,900, realizing a 29% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $1.09m at Christie's.

Gouache, watercolor, brush and ink and pencil on paper, 37.1 x 30.0cm. The work has been traded 4 times in the past.
