Jeff Koons, Baroque Egg with Bow (1994) sold for $2.31m, less than the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 15.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $3.94m, realizing a 63% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2011 for $6.24m at Christie's.
