Jean-Michel Basquiat Work Sells for $14.48m to Deliver a 5% Annualized Return

Jean-Michel Basquiat, Sabado por la Noche (Saturday Night) (1984) sold for $14.48m (HKD112.6m), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $3.82m, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 2019 for $10.66m at Christie's.
