Jean-Michel Basquiat, Francesco Clemente And Andy Warhol, Horizontal Painting (1984) sold for $1.26m (GBP982,800), more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 5. The acrylic, oilstick and silkscreen ink on canvas work has been traded 3 times in the past.

The sale beat the artist collaboration’s previous auction record by $663,800, a 100% rise.
