Jean-Michel Basquiat, Ancient Scientist, is due to be sold at Christie's in Hong Kong on September 29, 2026 with a $7.14m (HKD56m) to $9.69m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2020 for $7.53m at Phillips. The current low estimate is 10% higher than its previous low estimate of $6.45m.
