Jean Dubuffet Work Sells for $952,500 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Jean Dubuffet, Passe l’heure (1980) sold for $952,500, more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 19.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $767,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1988 for $185,200 at Sotheby's.
