Jean Dubuffet, La vie en ville (1962), sold for $468,800 (EUR396,800), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in Paris on April 17.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $166,200, realizing a 26% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2023 for $635,000 at Van Ham Kunstauktionen.
