Jacques Germain Work Sells for $33,000 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Jacques Germain, Ronde bleue (1960) sold for $33,000 (EUR30,200), more than four times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 8.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $30,900, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 1986 for $2,049 at Hoebanx.
