Jackson Pollock, Untitled (1947) sold for $3.49m, more than the low estimate at Phillips in New York on November 19.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $39,000, realizing a 1% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $3.52m at Christie's.
