Jackson Pollock, Untitled (1948) sold for $15.34m, at Phillips in New York on November 19.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $14.23m, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 1987 for $1.1m at Sotheby's.
