Ithell Colquhoun Work Sells for $51,000 to Deliver a 11% Annualized Return

Ithell Colquhoun, Roman Sun (1947) sold for $51,000 (GBP38,400), more than the low estimate at Bonhams on May 1.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $50,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 11%. It last sold at auction in 1985 for $737 at Sotheby's.
