Ilya Bolotowsky Work Sells for $38,100 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Ilya Bolotowsky, Yellow Rectangular (1975) sold for $38,100, more than two and a half times the low estimate at Rago on March 12.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $27,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1994 for $11,000 at Sotheby's.
