Ilya Bolotowsky Work Sells for $50,400 to Deliver a 31% Annualized Return

Ilya Bolotowsky, Square in 3 Blues (79-109) (1979) sold for $50,400 (GBP38,400), more than three and a half times the low estimate at Bonhams in London on April 3.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $36,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 31%. It last sold at auction in 2020 for $13,800 at Heritage Auctions.
