Ilona Singer's Auction Record Jumps 375%

Ilona Singer, Still life with cacti and rubber tree (1929) sold for $214,800 (EUR203,200), more than 16 times the low estimate at Karl & Faber in Munich on December 5.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $170,400, a 375% rise.
