Huang Binhong Work Returns to Auction

Huang Binhong, Studio of Abundant Shade, is due to be sold at Christie's in Hong Kong on April 29, 2026 with a $957,100 (HKD7.5m) to $1.21m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2017 for $2.18m at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 85% higher than its previous low estimate of $515,000.

Ink and colour on paper, 118.3 x 52.8cm. The work has not been traded before.
