Honore Daumier Work Returns to Auction

Honore Daumier, The Butcher, Montmartre Market, also known as The Butcher, The Butcher of Montmartre, or The Butcher at His Stall, is due to be sold at Christie's in Paris on April 15, 2026 with a $68,900 (EUR60,000) to $91,800 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 1994 for $232,700 at Loudmer.
