Hilary Pecis, Fish and Bird (2019), sold for $259,500 (HKD2.03m), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $992,700, realizing a 79% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $1.25m at Sotheby's.
