Henry Nelson O'Neil Work Returns to Auction

Henry Nelson O'Neil, The Standard-Bearer: A Portrait of Rajaram Roy (1817 – c. 1850), son of Raja Ram Mohan Roy (1772 – 1833), is due to be sold at Sotheby's in London on July 1, 2026 with a $264,200 (GBP200,000) to $396,300 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2024 for $27,700 at Bonhams. The current low estimate is 6728% higher than its previous low estimate of $3,869.
