Hans Arp, Torse (1931), sold for $704,000, more than four and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 20.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $501,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 34%. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $202,500 at Christie's.
