Hannah Hoch, Priesterin (1930) sold for $224,600 (GBP165,100), more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on September 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $186,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 1992 for $38,100 at Christie's.
