The Goodwood Art Foundation has announced its 2026 Summer programme, commencing on 2 May and running until 1 November. The programme features major exhibitions and new commissions by a roster of international artists, including Nancy Holt, Eva Rothschild, Polly Apfelbaum, Yayoi Kusama, Lee Ufan, Nabihah Iqbal, and Hélio Oiticica. These presentations will span the Foundation's galleries, including The Gallery and Pigott Gallery, as well as its extensive 70-acre landscape and Schwarzman Gardens.

Highlights include site-responsive installations by Nancy Holt, whose practice in land art will be a focus, alongside new sculptural works by Eva Rothschild in the Pigott Gallery. The Gallery will host an exhibition by Polly Apfelbaum, showcasing ceramics, textiles, and prints, with a collaboration noted involving West Dean College’s Tapestry Studio. Other prominent artists featured are Yayoi Kusama and Lee Ufan, contributing to the Foundation’s contemporary art offerings.

The programme also incorporates performance, with artist and musician Nabihah Iqbal presenting new work on 23 and 24 May, developed in collaboration with Manchester Collective. As part of the UK/Brazil Season of Culture 2025-26, the Foundation will feature works by Hélio Oiticica, exploring concrete poetry and visual language. Further commissions and installations, including a new sculpture slated for unveiling in June, will activate diverse locations such as the chalk quarry, engaging with themes from post-war art to contemporary sculpture and digital art. The broader artistic scope for the summer includes contributions from Rachel Whiteread, Susan Philipsz, Rose Wylie, Isamu Noguchi, and Solange Pessoa.

The Goodwood Art Foundation's Summer season operates Thursday through Monday, from 9am to 5pm, from its opening on 2 May until its conclusion on 1 November 2026.
