Glenn Ligon Work Returns to Auction

Glenn Ligon, Stranger #36, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in New York on November 17, 2026 with a $600,000 to $800,000 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2016 for $1.93m at Christie's. The current low estimate is 50% lower than its previous low estimate of $1.2m.
