Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo Work Sells for $130,800 to Deliver a 2% Annualized Return

Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, The Holy Family Returns to Nazareth sold for $130,800 (GBP95,200), more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on July 2.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $85,800, equivalent to an annualized return of 2%. It last sold at auction in 1987 for $45,000 at Mathias Roux.
