Gino Severini Work Sells for $3.2m to Deliver a 9% Annualized Return

Gino Severini, Danseuse (1915) sold for $3.2m, more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 12.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $3.17m, equivalent to an annualized return of 9%. It last sold at auction in 1972 for $26,000 at Sotheby's.
