Giacomo Balla Work Sells for $147,400 to Deliver a 5% Annualized Return

Giacomo Balla, Bambina che corre sul balcone, studio (1912) sold for $147,400 (EUR127,000), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on October 23.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $111,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 2000 for $35,900 at Sotheby's.
