Gerrit Willemsz Heda, A pewter flagon, a salt cellar, a roemer with silver-gilt stem, an upturned glass roemer, oysters, and a dish on a partly draped table (1647), sold for $120,600, more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in New York on February 4.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $199,300, realizing a 62% negative return. It last sold at auction in 1996 for $320,000 at Sotheby's.

Oil on panel, 91.7 x 69.9cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
