Georges Mathieu Work Sells for $113,500 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Georges Mathieu, Hasard du temps (A coincidence in time) (1987), sold for $113,500 (HKD889,000), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $52,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 2017 for $61,600 at Versailles Encheres - Perrin.
