Georg Baselitz Work with $1.32m Estimate Returns to Auction

Georg Baselitz, P.D. Idol, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in London on October 15, 2026 with a $1.32m (GBP1m) to $1.99m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2018 for $2.66m at Phillips. The current low estimate is 36% lower than its previous low estimate of $2.1m.
