Gagosian to Feature Kathleen Ryan's New "Bad Fruit" Sculptures at TEFAF New York 2026

Gagosian has announced its participation in TEFAF New York 2026, featuring new sculptures by artist Kathleen Ryan. The exhibition will run from May 14–19, 2026, at the Park Avenue Armory, located at Booth 350.

Ryan's presentation will focus on recent additions to her acclaimed "Bad Fruit" series. These works delve into themes of decay, consumerism, and regeneration, reinterpreting traditional vanitas motifs for a contemporary context.

The sculptures are characterized by their intricate material composition, incorporating various gems, semiprecious stones, pearls, opals, and crystals alongside steel, polystyrene, and repurposed car parts. This juxtaposition highlights a dialogue between high craft and industrial components.
