The Fundació Joan Miró will unveil a new long-term exhibition, 'Joan Miró. Circle,' opening on March 13, 2026, and running through March 12, 2028. Located at Parc de Montjuïc, s/n, Sants-Montjuïc, the exhibition is described as a culmination of the Fundació’s 50th-anniversary initiatives.

This installation aims to delve into Joan Miró’s extensive oeuvre by examining his creative process and its dialogue with the architectural design of the Fundació, conceived by Josep Lluís Sert. The exhibition will showcase works by Miró, including paintings such as acrylic on canvas and oil on canvas, alongside sculptures. Works by Alexander Calder will also be featured, contextualizing Miró's artistic approach.

Curatorial insights from figures such as Teresa Montaner and Marta Ricart are expected to guide the exhibition's narrative, further exploring Miró’s artistic journey and the collection’s evolution. The initiative follows collaborations with institutions like the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, emphasizing a broader scholarly engagement within the Fundació’s programming.
