Franz West Work Sells for $145,100 But Delivers a 26% Negative Return

Franz West, Untitled (1999), sold for $145,100 (GBP108,800), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 5.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $51,900, realizing a 26% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2014 for $197,000 at Sotheby's.

Papier-mâché, metal, acrylic, polyester and plastic, 68.6 x 43.2 x 35.0cm. The work has been traded 4 times in the past.
