Frank Stella Work Sells for $355,600 to Deliver a 6% Annualized Return

Frank Stella, Ostropol I (1973), sold for $355,600, more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in Saudi Arabia on January 31.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $280,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 6%. It last sold at auction in 2000 for $75,000 at Sotheby's.
