Laure Prouvost has designed a set of sails for an art catamaran. The Art Explora museum boat, the brainchild of the French philanthropist Frédéric Jousset is setting sail from Marseille, the start of a voyage around the Mediterranean, Elite Traveler reports.

Ana Mendieta will be played by America Ferrera in a new TV series about the Cuban-American artist and her ill-fated marriage to Carl Andre, reports Hyperallergic. Her sudden death was ruled a suicide but it overshadowed Andre’s career.

Emma McIntyre, a LA-based artist, has joined David Zwirner, which plans to show her work in its Hong Kong space. She will continue to collaborate with LA-based Château Shatto gallery.

Nari Ward's solo show opens in Milan’s Pirelli HangarBicocca in March. Ahead of the show he tells The Art Newspaper how he came to use materials such as bottles and baseball bats after becoming frustrated with drawing.

Magdalene Odundo presents an exhibition of sculptures made in response to the state rooms at Houghton Hall, a historic house with a track record of hosting works by leading contemporary artists. The Kenya-born, British ceramic artist’s work will be joined by Antony Gormley’s Time Horizon in the grounds beyond.
