Fernand Leger Work Sells for $6.24m to Deliver a 5% Annualized Return

Fernand Leger, Les Trois figures (1921) sold for $6.24m, more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 18.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $4.65m, equivalent to an annualized return of 5%. It last sold at auction in 2000 for $1.59m at Grisebach .
