Felix Vallotton Work Sells for $50,000 But Delivers a 37% Negative Return

Felix Vallotton, Jug and Fruit (1924) sold for $50,000 (CHF40,000), more than the low estimate at Koller Auktionen in Zurich on June 27.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $30,300, realizing a 37% negative return. It last sold at auction in 1989 for $80,300 at Sotheby's.
