Emmi Whitehorse, Sea Forager II (2024) sold for $387,700 (GBP302,400), more than two and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 5. The oil, pastel, graphite and chalk on paper laid on canvas work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $209,900, a 100% rise.

The previous record was set by Canyon Lake I (2001), which sold for $177,800 at Phillips on May 15, 2024. The work had been traded twice in the past.
