Emile Bernard Work Sells for $110,900 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Emile Bernard, Nature morte aux fruits, fleurs et tasse (1892) sold for $110,900, more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 13.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $95,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1982 for $15,500 at Sotheby's.
