Egon Schiele, Frauenbildnis mit Blauem und Grünem Halstuch (Portrait of a Woman with Blue and Green Scarf) (1914), sold for $1.92m, more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 19.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $130,000, realizing a 6% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2016 for $2.05m at Sotheby's.

Gouache and pencil on paper, 45.5 x 30.0cm. The work has been traded 7 times in the past.
