Egon Schiele Work Returns to Auction

Egon Schiele, Frauenbildnis mit Blauem und Grünem Halstuch (Portrait of a Woman with Blue and Green Scarf), is due to be sold at Sotheby's in New York on May 19, 2026 with a $1m to $1.5m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2016 for $2.05m at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 33% lower than its previous low estimate of $1.5m.
