Edouard Vuillard Work Sells for $563,800 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Edouard Vuillard, Yvonne Printemps dans le canapé (1919) sold for $563,800 (EUR504,000), more than three times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 10.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $546,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 1977 for $17,700 at Laurin Guilloux Buffetaud.
