Edouard Vuillard Work Sells for $40,100 to Deliver a 14% Annualized Return

Edouard Vuillard, Lucie Hessel dans la salle à manger rue de Naples (1936) sold for $40,100 (EUR35,300), more than the low estimate at Christie's Online on May 27.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $18,700, equivalent to an annualized return of 14%. It last sold at auction in 2020 for $21,400 at Sotheby's.
