Edgar Degas, Study of a Dancer (1890), sold for $112,500 (EUR95,200), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $78,700, equivalent to an annualized return of 2%. It last sold at auction in 1971 for $33,800 at Christie's.
