Degas Bronze Sells for $1.68M to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Edgar Degas, Edgar Degas, Grande arabesque, troisième temps (1919) sold for $1.68m, more than four times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 18.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $1.39m, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1986 for $286,900 at Sotheby's.
