Ed Ruscha Work Sells for $3.27m to Deliver a 10% Annualized Return

Ed Ruscha, 99% Angel, 1% Devil (1983) sold for $3.27m, more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 21.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $2.24m, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 2012 for $1.02m at Phillips de Pury.
