Dorset Museum to Host 'Treasure! Lost & Found' Exhibition

Dorset Museum & Art Gallery will present 'Treasure! Lost & Found,' an exhibition centered on archaeological finds and ancient history. The show is scheduled to run from June 13 to September 13, 2026.

The exhibition will explore a range of discoveries, from prehistoric artifacts to Roman, Viking, and Anglo-Saxon treasures. It will also examine the contributions of modern metal detectorists and the application of scientific research in unearthing and understanding these objects.

Displaying a blend of archaeological artifacts and modern creative work, 'Treasure! Lost & Found' will incorporate digital art and installation art. Sensory elements such as Holobox technology, projections, and holograms are planned to enhance the visitor experience.
