Diego Giacometti Work Sells for $4.47m to Deliver a 10% Annualized Return

Diego Giacometti, 'Hommage à Böcklin' Console (1978), sold for $4.47m, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 20.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $4.18m, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 1997 for $282,100 at Briest.

Patinated bronze, glass, 90.7 x 106.7 x 47.0cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
