Dean Sameshima Presents 'Wonderland' at Soft Opening

Dean Sameshima will present his second exhibition, 'Wonderland,' at Soft Opening. The show is scheduled to run from March 20 to May 9, 2026.

The exhibition focuses on a body of photographic work produced between 1995 and 1997, capturing scenes within queer sex clubs and cruising grounds. Through photography, collage, and found imagery, Sameshima's 'Wonderland' explores themes of queer identity, subcultures, public sex, surveillance, concealment, eroticism, and history.
